**NEW RELEASE** Genuine Risk - 1980 Kentucky Derby Champion - Large Giclee Print
GENUINE RISK, foaled February 15, 1977 in Kentucky, won the 1980 Kentucky Derby and was the first filly to ever finish in the money in all three U.S. Triple Crown races. Ridden by Jacinto Vasquez, she finished second in the Preakness and Belmont Stakes. At present she is the oldest living winner of the Kentucky Derby.
She was only the second filly to win the Kentucky Derby, the first being Regret, 65 years earlier in 1915.
GENUINE RISK was inducted into the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in 1986. In the Blood-Horse magazine List of the Top 100 Racehorses of the 20th Century, she was ranked #91.
Large giclee print of GENUINE RISK. This print measures 16" x 20" and is the eighth print in the "Racing Greats" Series.
I have Genuine Risk's name in the white border. My name is in the image, but I will sign it again- you tell me where you want it: on the image, in the white that would not be covered by the mat, or where the mat would cover it.
I will mail the print flat (I have received prints that were in a mailing tube and they were not in the best of shape, which was disappointing). I highly recommend using UV resistant glass when you frame this beautiful print. The print cannot be dry-mounted: a non-yellowing, non-wrinkling spray adhesive works best. Mounting them keeps them flat so there's no chance of warping over time.
PRICE: $75.00
